County Fire Code
On February 1, 2005, the Travis County Commissioners Court
adopted the International Fire Code, 2003 edition, as the
Fire Code for Travis County. Pursuant to this code, each
new commercial and public building, as well as, any existing
structure for which use has changed or will sustain 50%
or greater construction alteration, must be permitted by
the Travis County Fire Marshal’s Office prior to construction.
